Inductive Charging

                       INDUCTIVE CHARGING

Hey Everyone,

I'm Here now to discuss with you about an interesting as well as quite debatable topic which is Inductive Charging,  What is it? How it is Possible? Is it Safe? all sorts of questions related that will be answered here. Now before that lets understand about the wired charging mechanism which we commonly use in our day to day life, ya that's right your mobile charger. Don't want to think too sciency and stuff now just look at the circuit below.
This is a simple charger circuit it consists of a step down transformer, a bridge rectifier,a voltage regulator and capacitors. The transformer steps down the ac supply so that it doesn't damage your phone circuits which will be pretty messy lol and then the rectifier filters the AC supply  and converts it into DC voltage and using voltage regulators and capacitors it regulates the voltage and then your phone starts charging.

Now what is Inductive Charging?

Inductive charging is similar to your Induction cooktop but instead of heating it charges your device. It uses Electromagnetic Field to transfer energy between your charger and device through Electromagnetic Induction(which is basically production of voltage in a conductor due to dynamic interaction with magnetic field). This Idea was pioneered by an eminent scientist Nicola Tesla in the late 1800's that power could be transmitted between through objects using electromagnetic field.

How does it work?

Inductive charging requires two induction coils, one(primary coil) is housed in the charger which is responsible for generation of Alternating current and the secondary coil(Receiver Coil) is in your device(Mobile, Tablet)  together these two coils make up an electrical transformer.

When the power supply is given to your charger(Primary coil) AC flows through it and hence creates Electromagnetic field(Changing Magnetic Field) when your device(receiver coil) is in close proximity to the charger electric current is generated within the coil. The AC flowing through the coil is converted into DC by your device and then your mobile starts charging.

Pretty simple mechanism right?

Is it Safe?

We have a tendency to be scared of anything that emits waves or signals but
what if I told you? It is a lot safer than your normal charger..! Yes it is. The electromagnetic field
created by inductive charger is not strong enough to create any harm to humans and as it doesn't even have any wires there is like 0% risk of electric shocks.
...Safer Than heaven..

Advantages and Drawbacks:

Induction Chargers are super cool as they doesn't have any wires so that irritating wire tangling problem is taken care of, and also its connections are enclosed and protected so as mentioned less risk of electrical faults.

Though it is so good it has its drawbacks the efficiency will be quite lower than normal charger as some energy will be lost as heat thus it will take much larger time than your wired charger and also the equipment is quite expensive and also people like me will find it inconvenient as you have to keep the device in the charger as you cannot use it while charging. However this part is taken care by Witricity's wireless chargers, which can charge your mobile from a distance.

Fact Flash:

Oral-B rechargeable tooth brushes by Braun company have been said to use inductive charging since the 1990's

  1. Mr Lee recently helped us with a loan which we used to expand our business. The process was amazing! He was in touch with us frequently to check in and to update us on what was happening throughout our loan repayment. He was friendly and approachable and always able to clear up questions that we had. We had such a great experience working with Ben!!

  3. My Testimony Hello everyone. Am here to testify how I got my loan from Mr. Benjamin after I applied several times from various loan lenders who promised to help but they never gave me the loan. Until a friend of mine introduced me to Mr.Benjamin Lee promised to help me and indeed he did as he promised without any form of delay.I never thought there are still reliable loan lenders until I met Mr. Benjamin Lee, who indeed helped with the loan and changed my belief. I don't know if you are in any way in need of a genuine and urgent loan, Be free to contact Mr. Benjamin via WhatsApp +1-989-394-3740 and  his email: 247officedept@gmail.com thank you.
